Western Air Ltd. was established in 2001 by Rex and Shandrice Rolle. The 100% Bahamian owned company is based at the San Andros Airport.

Our fleet consists of 4 Saab 340A (33 seaters), 8 Fairchild Metro III Jet prop (19 seaters), 1 Fairchild Merlin 4C Jet prop (12 seats in executive configuration for corporate or executive charter flights) 1 Piper Chieftain ( 7 seats executive configuration). The Company has acquired 3 Raytheon Beech 1900-C Jet prop (19 seater) which will be flying under the banner of Vision Air Ltd a subsidiary of Western Air. Vision Air is the new on demand executive charter division of Western Air. Western Air is a fully licensed and insured charter company that currently operates daily schedule flights between Nassau, all airports in Andros, Bimini, and Freeport including on demand charters throughout the Bahamas, Caribbean, Central and South America. The company currently employs 110 full time employees. The company's Headquarters, Passenger Terminal, Maintenance Facility and Fixed Based Operation, (FBO) located at the San Andros Airport. Western Air is committed to offering its customer's well-maintained safe airplanes, great services and low airfares.

Mr. Rex Rolle is the President and CEO of the company. He holds a United States FAA and Bahamian certified Airline Transport Pilot license and type rating in the Metro III. Mr. Rolle is also a US FAA certified Flight Instructor, Certified Flight Instructor Instruments, and Certified Multi-Engine Instructor. Mr. Rolle has been a professional pilot for more than 20 years. He is married to Shandrice Woodside-Rolle. They have one daughter, Sherrexcia Rolle.

Mrs. Shandrice Woodside-Rolle is the Vice-President and COO of the company. She is a graduate of Florida Metropolitan University where she holds a bachelors degree in International Business.
