Western Air is seeking Airport Security Screeners to join our growing team in Freeport, Grand Bahama. This role is responsible for maintaining aviation security standards and ensuring the safe screening of passengers, baggage, and restricted access areas within the terminal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage in accordance with aviation security procedures
- Monitor restricted and secure access areas
- Conduct routine security inspections and checks
- Assist with maintaining a safe and secure terminal environment
- Identify and report suspicious activity or prohibited items
- Provide professional and courteous interaction with passengers
Requirements:
- Ability to remain alert, professional, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced airport environment
- Must successfully complete Civil Aviation Authority Bahamas security training
- Training period approximately 3 weeks
